Joe Ohm, Instructor & Owner
Joe played professional baseball in the Chicago Cubs organization. He played basketball and baseball at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse where he was the 2007 WIAC Pitcher of the Year. Joe also played in the prestigious Cape Cod collegiate summer baseball league. He has been a high school basketball and baseball coach at Pine Island, Rochester Century, and Byron the past 25 years as well as coaching youth sports. Joe has 25 years of experience running camps and clinics. Currently, Joe is a teacher in the Byron Public Schools, varsity assistant basketball coach at Byron High School. Joe and his wife Cortnay have two children Ryan (20) and Madison (17).

Get to know the Ohm family!
Sports was a constant in the Ohm family growing up. When we were not helping on the family farm we were playing sports. In high school we played a sport each season. All four of us went on to compete at the college level.
Brother Chuck played college football and baseball at St. Olaf College where he was a pitcher, outfielder, and starting quarterback for three seasons. He has Coached high school football, basketball, and baseball the past 20 years. Is currently the head baseball coach at Zumbrota-Mazzeppa where he also directs their summer youth baseball program.
Sister Melissa played softball at St. Olaf College and was a starting pitcher. In high school played Volleyball, basketball and softball.
Sister Katie set the state high school scoring record for basketball with 3,694 points and led Elgin-Millville to the state championship in 2005. That year she was voted Miss Basketball for the state of Minnesota. Katie went on to a great career at the University of Minnesota where she played for the gophers from 2005-2010. She set the single season three-point record with 74 three-pointers made while shooting 40%.
